Auto Polish

Nothing makes your beauty shine like a freshly applied coat of auto polish, also known as automotive wax. The wax used to shine your car or truck is a far cry from the stuff found in candles or lip gloss though. This stuff has such exotic applications as protecting electrical sub stations in case of line failure or coating the leading surfaces of airplanes to prevent surface damage.

The application of auto polish is the last step in cleaning your car and is considered part of the detailing process. Once you have washed your car and rinsed it clean, allow it to dry slightly and apply a coat of wax. Some waxes are applied with simple elbow grease; others work best when applied with a rotary buffer. Check the instructions on the specific type you buy to find what works best for your wax.

A relatively new innovation in the auto polish industry is all in one polish. These products allow you to wash, clean, rinse, and dry with one product. They save the hassle of keeping a crate full of different products to wash your car and make the process quicker. Or if you don’t mind the extra bottle but don’t want to dry your car by hand, get spot-free finish for your car. With spot free finishing products you spray the car down after the rinse and walk away without having to worry about water spots on the car.
